The Fit Expo
Los Angeles, CA – This was my first time attending The Fit Expo held at the Convention Center. Like many, the start of a New Year is the perfect time to focus on health and wellness. I have made a promise to myself to drop twenty pounds this year, my inner beast is smiling.
The Expo which was sponsored by Subway Restaurants was awesome. There was live music, food trucks, cooking classes, yoga, competitions and so much more. There was something for everyone at the expo, including a just for kids section. Which included face painting, a magic show, and so much more.
I was extremely impressed with Ralphs and the Simple Truth line. The products were absolutely delicious, I had my fair share of samples. The Simple Truth line believes in supporting Fair Trade and sourcing matters. The packaging is really easy to identify while shopping.
I walked away with a ton of samples from the vendors. There were so many different products to try and sample. Here are a few of the stand out products for me. First, Epic stood out to me. Before the expo I had never even heard of them. Their Maple Glazed & Smoked Tender Salmon Bites changed my life. I had a moment from The Sound of Music, The Hills are Alive with the sound of salmon tender bites. Here is more on their story…
Next, ProYo stood out for me as well. It is hands down the best low fat ice cream I have ever had, and I have had my fair share. This product packs 35g of high protein per container. You can also try this amazing product at your local Vons, Ralphs, or Pavilions.
Lastly, I also had the opportunity to see some of the new Kind Bars. There is one flavor I must try, the Roasted Jalapeno. I look forward to attending this expo next year minus twenty pounds.
